Death of Mrs. Alexander

Charlotte Lambertson was born in Dearborn county, Indiana, Jan. 28, 1821 and died at her home in Winterset, Iowa, January 2d, 1908. She was united in marriage to Hugh Alexander Sept. 12, 1843. She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom survive her.

She was converted and united with the Baptist church at the age of thirteen. She was a noble Christian woman, a loving mother, and a kind friend. The funeral service was held at the Baptist church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. E. M. Atwood, from St. John 10:28.
