Lydia S. Beeson was born in Dallas County, Iowa, October 24th, 1864 and died at the home of her mother southwest of here September 11th, 1911; aged 47 years, 10 months and 18 days. Early in life she united with the M.E. church. She was married October 16th, 1881 to C. A. Clyde. To this union were born three sons; Fred E., Albert and D. B. These with her aged mother, 8 brothers and 5 grandchildren are left to mourn the loss of a loved one passed from earthly view.

Funeral services were held in the Friends church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the pastor and interment was made in Earlham cemetery.
