Ella L., wife of Jas. E. Williams, died at her home in Cass county, Mo., on Dec. 18, and was brought here for burial. The services were held in Friends church last Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. W. Williamson of DeSoto. The interment was in Earlham cemetery.

Ella J. Barnett was born in Madison county, Iowa, Jan. 9, 1871, where she grew to womanhood and was married to Jas. E. Williams on Feb. 23, 1897. She joined the Christina church in DeSoto in 1898, and lived fully up to its teachings. She has been a patient sufferer for some four years, and welcomed death as a release.

She was a sister of Anderson Barnett.
