Albert Hagland, for twenty-two years a laborer in the south stone quarry, died Tuesday afternoon from acute alcoholism and was buried in Earlham cemetery Wednesday. He was forty seven years of age and when not drinking was an industrious hard working man. For the past two weeks he had been drinking heavily and it resulted in his death. He had no family or immediate relatives here.
