Word was received of the death of Mrs. Alice Chaplin who died at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines Sunday where she had been the past three weeks. The remains were brought here and the funeral services were held at the Kale funeral home Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Mrs. Willey with interment in the Hartman cemetery.
