Mary J. Anklam of 520 29th Ave., Longview, died Nov. 29, 1987, at home. She was 70.

Mrs. Anklam was a registered nurse and had retired from Lawrence Laboratory in Berkeley, Calif. She was born Jan. 30, 1916 at Winterset, Iowa, and moved to Longview in 1982 from San Leandro, Calif. She was a member of the Catholic faith.

Surviving her are two sons, Noel Anklam of Livermore, Calif., and Barry Anklam of Van Nuys, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday in the Columbia Funeral Service Chapel with Deacon Glenn Cliffton of St. Rose Catholic Church officiating. The service will be preceded by cremation at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Kelso and final disposition will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Hayward, Calif.
