Larry D. Gordon

Larry Dwaine Gordon, 72, of Galt passed away Aug. 24, 2013 in a Lodi hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Winterset, Iowa on May 26, 1941.

Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran who worked as a diesel mechanic for 38 years. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Larry and his wife would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 17.

Larry is survived by his wife, Tomoe Gordon of Galt; children, Bobby Gordon, Gary Gordon and Betty Wassall, all of Galt; mother, Darlene Alexander of Iowa; sisters, Nancy Gunter of Georgia and Dixie Holt of Iowa; brother, Butch Gordon of Iowa; grandchildren, Joshua Gordon, Brandon and Alyssa Gordon, Kaley and Zachary Wassall, all of Calif.; great-grandchildren, Jesse Wassall and Lila Gordon of Calif.

Per his wishes, Larry will be cremated and no services will be held.
