Page 1Death of Philip B. Tarbell
Philip B. Tarbell, who had been in failing health for the past year, died Nov. 13th at his resident in Winterset at the age of 79. Mr. Tarbell came to Madison county with his father, brother and two sisters in 1875, settled on a farm in Lincoln township and lived continuously in that community until he moved to Winterset several years ago. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday morning at 10:30; interment will be made in the Clark cemetery.

Page 5, Column 3Phillip Tarbell Dies
Phillip Tarbell, retired farmer of Lincoln township, died at his Winterset home Monday evening. Mr. Tarbell was 79 years old, and is one of the county's oldest resident's. He is survived by his wife.
A sister from Oklahoma and his brother from Chicago are here to attend the funeral which will be held tomorrow morning at the residence. The burial will be in the Clark cemetery near Ord.
