Across the Line

Frank Connor, who was reported last week as being ill from typhoid fever at Mercy hospital, died Thursday morning at six o’clock. Regardless of the fact that he had been ailing for some time, he was confined to his bed but one week. His sister, Anna, remained with him in the hospital until he died. The body was brought to his late home near St. Patrick’s church Thursday and the funeral was held Saturday morning. He was a splendid type of young man, a great solace to his widowed mother and a true friend and chum to all his companions. He leaves besides his mother, three brothers and four sisters, one being a nun in an Oklahoma convent. All of the family were present at the funeral. His pastor, Rev. M. V. Dugan read the mass and burial services. The family have the sympathy of a host of friends and neighbors.
