Mortuary

Lauretta Oglesbee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Oglesbee of East Peru, was born Oct. 5, 1868 and departed this life June 6, 1922 at the age of 53 years, 8 months 1 day.

She was married to Leonard Lull of Madison county, on Nov. 9, 1888. To this union were born one daughter and seven sons: Mrs. Sloan of Tulsa, Okla.; Ernest, Robert, Howard, John, Lee and Glen, all of Patterson. One son died in infancy, besides these, she leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, one sister, Mrs. Martin of Des Moines; two brothers, Ben and Vernie of Peru, and a host of friends.

She united with the Methodist church of Patterson in the winter of 1908. Although she was not an active member of the church, she strongly believed in Jesus our Savior and bore her illness with patience.

Funeral services were held in the M.E. church in Patterson, Friday, conducted by the pastor.
