William Shields died on Friday at the home of his brother in law Ed Haney. He had driven here from Elliott, accompanied by his wife and her mother. Death came suddenly at 2:30 p.m. while Mr. Shields was sitting in a chair. He was 52 years old. He had been a frequent visitor at the Haney home. The body was taken to Elliott on Saturday.
