Death of David Simmerman

David Simmerman died on May 25 at the county farm. He had been a cripple from infancy and had made his home at the farm for 41 years. He was a hard working man, in spite of his crippled condition and had won many friends by his kind acts and faithful services to those about him.

Six weeks before his death he was stricken with paralysis, which at his age, 74 years, proved to be beyond repair. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday by Rev. LeRoy C. Cooley.
