September 21, 2010KIVETT --- Eva A. Kivett on Friday, September 17, 2010, of Arlington, VA passed away peacefully at Virginia Hospital Center. Eva is survived by her brother, Charles and his wife, Frances, brother-in-law, George Davies, nieces Joyce Clark and Nancy Kuzminski and nephews Raymond and Russell Kivett. Her sister, Wilma Davies, preceded her in death.
Eva was born near Macksburg, IA on August 21, 1923. She graduated from Capital City Commercial College, Des Moines, IA. After graduation Eva worked for the FBI in Chicago, later transferring to the Washington DC bureau. Following her service with FBI, she worked for the Welch & Morgan Law Firm as accountant/office manager until her retirement. She lived in DC until 1986, then moved to Arlington. During her retirement she enjoyed being a member of the FBI Alumni Group and the Council of Former Federal Executives group.
There will be no memorial service and her cremains will be buried in the Kivett Cemetery near Macksburg, IA. Eva’s family thanks all her loving friends for the help they have given her during her illness.
