Jennifer Sly, 32, of Earlham passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Earlham. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 29, at the Earlham Church of Christ. Burial will be at the Earlham City Cemetery.

Jennifer was born October 11, 1980 to David and Glenda (Dunbar) Heaberlin at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. She grew up in Earlham and graduated from Earlham High School with the class of 1999. Following high school she enrolled in Nursing School at DMACC where she graduated in 2003. She worked at Iowa Methodist Medical Center as a labor and delivery nurse. On April 21, 2007 she was united in marriage to Justin Sly. This union blessed them with three daughters: Carsyn Rene, Camryn Anne and Kynsley Vonn. She loved spending time with her daughters and enjoyed decorating the house for the holidays.

Jennifer was an active contributor to the March of Dimes Organization. She enjoyed attending concerts and was always the life of the party. She enjoyed reading and had just become an active runner.

She was preceded in death by two grandfathers: Darrell Dunbar and Avery Heaberlin.

She is survived by her loving husband: Justin of Earlham; children: Carsyn, Camryn and Kynsley of Earlham; sister: Heather (Steve) Stanley of Waukee and their children: Larissa, Ella and Dempsey; two grandmothers: Joyce Dunbar of Earlham and Darlene Heaberlin of Rowan and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all of whom will miss her greatly.
