Neighborhood News - St. Charles

Fielding B. Close died at his home in this city, June 28th aged 88 years and three days. The funeral services were held Wednesday at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. G. E. Nichols, pastor of the Church of Christ. Interment was made in the St. Charles Cemetery. The sympathy of the community is extended to the aged wife and other relatives.

Mrs. Chadd of Garden City, Mo., who was called here by the death of Mr. Close, returned to her home on Wednesday. She was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Close, who will make her home with her.
