Pallbearers Named For Rites Monday
Roy O. Sheets, 57, of 4225 University ave., chief clerk to the master mechanic for the Rock Island railroad, died at his home Saturday after a heart attack.
He had been employed by the Rock Island 42 years and had lived in Des Moines, the last 10 years. He was a member of the Masons, Woodmen and University Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Fred; two daughters, Mildred of Des Moines and Mrs. William LaFeber, of Clinton, Ia.; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Snyder, of Des Moines; two brothers, Ed and Elmer, both of Des Moines; and one grandchild.
Services will be at the E. Carl White Funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. A. E. Elliott officiating. Burial will be at Masonic cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: E. G. Roberts, Cecil Dorn, T. J. Butler, Les Twitchell, B. H. Smith and R. C. Hyde.
