WILMA HENSON, Winterset

Wilma “Wilm” Henson, 70, of Winterset died Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 13, at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery at Winterset. Memorials may be directed to her family for a future designation.

Wilma was born on July 23, 1942, at New Virginia, Iowa to Sam and Cleta (Berbam) Wright. She was a graduate of Lorimor High School and married Robert Henson on Sept. 3, 1961, at Winterset. She has lived in Winterset since 1961, having worked in Winterset for a short time and spending most of her time being a homemaker. She also sold Shaklee products.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Cleta (Berbam) Wright, husband, Robert “Bob” Henson; and sister, Beverly Ann Wright.

She is survived by her brothers, Robert (Leta) Wright of New York and Jim Wright of Winterset.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
