Page 8Earl L. Cohee, 81, of Grand Island, Neb., a retired carpenter, died at Riverview Manor Convalescent Home in Des Moines Thursday after a lingering illness.
Mr. Cohee was taken ill Dec. 1, while visiting his children in Mitchellville and Des Moines. A native of Valentine, Neb., he lived in Nebraska, Wyoming and Iowa, where his home was at Macksburg. He was a member of the Macksburg Methodist church.
Services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Macksburg, with burial at Moon Cemetery, Macksburg.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma, and these Iowa relatives: three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Searl and Mrs. Ethel Leasman, both of Mitchellville; Mrs. Elva Croft of Des Moines, and sons, Ivan and Glen, both of Des Moines.
