Page 7Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church for Mrs. Nancy M. Childers, 83, of 4111 Ingersoll Ave., with burial in the cemetery at Peru, Ia.
Mrs. Childers, who died Sunday at Iowa Methodist Hospital, was born in Peru and lived 35 years in Des Moines.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Holmes and Mrs. Mildred Cook, both of Des Moines; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Shetterly of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Ruby Imes of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Rae Fenimore and Mrs. Doris Stirts, both of Peru; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The body is at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
