Darby Walsh, 92, Dies; Rites Set

Darby M. Walsh, 92, of Churchville, died of arteriosclerosis Tuesday at Burton Nursing Home, Indianola, after a five-year illness.

Mr. Walsh was a lifetime resident of Churchville, where he was a farmer until his retirement in 1951.

He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church of Churchville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the Irish settlement at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.

Surviving are four nieces and three nephews.
