Services for Harry N. Jones, 68, of 3436 Rollins Ave., will be at noon Saturday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the cemetery at Peru, Ia.
Mr. Jones died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Veterans Hospital after a two month illness.
A native of Manilla, Ia., he lived on farms near Peru and Winterset before coming to Des Moines 20 years ago. He was a salesman here for American National Insurance Co. before his retirement in 1953.
He was a member of Grace Methodist Church and Highland Park Post 374 of the American Legion.
Surviving are his widow, Clara; two sons, James of Des Moines and Bernard of Newburgh, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Engler of Clinton and Mrs. Annabelle Comen of Des Moines; and five grandchildren.
