Services for Julia I. Miller, 49, of Polk City, who died Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital of cancer, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles.

A Des Moines area resident most of her life, Mrs. Miller was born in Davis City. She was a self-employed beautician and a member of Eagles Club.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd; a son, Russell Strable, and a daughter, Cindy L. Eshelman, both of Des Moines; her mother, Louise Vos of West Des Moines; three stepdaughters, Betty Lee Strable, and Karla Samo, both of Des Moines, and Leona Kane of West Des Moines; a stepson, Floyd N. of Polk City; six brothers, Wayne Hagen of West Des Moines, Chub Hagen of Bevington, Don Hagen of Indianola, Cleo Hagen of Pleasantville, Bing Hagen of Winterset, and Bill Hagen of West Des Moines, and nine grandchildren.
