March 25, 2003 Metro pg 5Thodora Houseman Griffith, 88, of Des Moines, died March 22, 2003 at Valley View Village. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 26 at the Altoona Funeral Home.
Thodora married Robert Griffith on August 19, 1931 in Bethany, MO. She previously resided in Iowa Falls from 1951 to 1974, and in Altoona from 1977 to 2000.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Sharon) Creveling, her grandsons, Shawn and Brian Creveling; and her great grandson, Nathan Creveling. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and two children, Robert Edward Griffith and Barbara Jean Griffith.
The family will meet with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Altoona Public Library.
