March 19, 1976 Metro pg 5Clarence Doty, 78, formerly of Des Moines, died Wednesday at La Jolla, Calif., of cancer.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Cemetery at the Irish Settlement, with a memorial mass scheduled at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m.
Born in Oskaloosa, Mr. Doty lived in Des Moines before moving to California about 13 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; and a sister, Mrs. Retha Hiatt of Glenwood.
The Caldwell-Brien-Robbins Funeral Home is in charge of service arrangements.
