October 14, 2004 Metro pg 7Kenneth E. Wills, 75, died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Taylor House. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 15 at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church.
Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and a graduate of East High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired from Iowa Power and Light. Kenneth was a member of Capitol Hill Lutheran Church and the Isaac Walton League. He enjoyed socializing and betting on the doggies.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Chuck) Pickett of Des Moines; sons, Keith Wills and Kent Wills, both of Des Moines; brother, Gordon Wills of Mesa, AZ; and four grandchildren, Krystal, Chelsea, Kade and Kacey. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Kathryn in 1996.
Memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Capitol Hill Lutheran Church or Taylor House.
