Delores “Dee” Dorsey, 51, of 2414 Capitol Ave. died of cancer Thursday at home. The body will be cremated, and no services are planned.

She was born in Macksburg and had lived in Des Moines all her life. She was a retired housekeeper with Valley West Inn and a member of Prairie Meadows Gold Club.

Survivors include two brothers, Darwin Dorsey and Douglas Dorsey, both of Des Moines; and five sisters, Ethel Attebery of Melcher-Dallas, Barbra Kiesling of Charlotte, N.C., and Charolett Robinson, Karen Johnston and Kathleen Stanley, all of Des Moines.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Assured Care Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Cremation Society of Iowa is handling arrangements.
