Services for Guy Kaufman, 51, of Des Moines, who died of a stroke Saturday, January 29th at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines were held Tuesday, February 1st at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery at DeSoto, with military rites by the Winterset post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Kaufman, a service station attendant, had been ill four days. He was born at DeSoto, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kaufman. He had made his home with---- and had lived in Winterset several years before moving to Des Moines. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Bennett and two brothers, Floyd and Nile both of St. Paul, Minnesota.
