Tom Spain Dies of Heart Attack

Tom Spain, 68, of rural Norwalk, died of a heart attack Saturday morning at home.

Mr. Spain had been ill five years. He was born in Madison County and lived 30 years in Warren County. He was a farmer and a member of the Assumption Catholic Church at Churchville.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Assumption Church, with burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery at Irish Settlement.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.

Mr. Spain is survived by a sister, Miss Mary Ellen Spain of Norwalk, and two brothers, William of Cumming and Edward of Norwalk.
