Mrs. Asa Dowler of St. Charles Dies

Mrs. Asa Dowler of St. Charles died Saturday, Nov. 14, at a Des Moines hospital. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Dowler was the former Blanche Trumbauer, daughter of Edwin and Emma Rust Trumbauer. She was born at Newell, Iowa on July 14, 1889, but lived most of her life in Madison county.

She was married in Colorado in 1939 to Asa Dowler, who survives her.

Mrs. Dowler was a member of the Methodist church.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a sister, Gayle Carter, of -----.

Funeral services were held at St. Charles this Monday in charge of the Rev. L. L. Root. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
