Services for Floyd O. Moore, 82, of 1416 E. Thirty-sixth St., who died of arteriosclerosis, Thursday at eh Grayson Nursing Home, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery near Patterson.
Mr. Moore, born in Bevington, lived there before coming to Des Moines 45 years ago. He worked as a janitor for the Des Moines public school system 22 years, retiring in 1948.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn White and Mrs. Hazel Gray, both of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Helen Knox of Hubbard, Ohio; three sons, Merville of Des Moines, Maurice of Long Beach, Cal., and Dyle of Seattle; one brother, Harry Moore of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Ephison of Des Moines; 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
