Funeral Tuesday for Stanley Busch

Stanley Roscoe Busch of R. R. 4, Winterset, died Saturday, Nov. 9, at his home at the age of 74. He was a life-long resident of Madison County.

Born on Aug. 2, 1906, in Madison County, he was the son of Andrew and Charlotte Ann Berry Busch. He was united in marriage to Mildred Iiams at Cromwell, Iowa, on May 26, 1940. Mr. Busch was a farmer until his retirement in 1972. He was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

Among the survivors are his wife Mildred; four children, Jim Busch of Winterset, Karen White of Cedar Rapids, twin daughters Sandra Murray of Jefferson City, Mo. and Linda Dwyer of Springfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren; a brother, Carl Busch of Greenfield; and a sister, Gladys Augustine, also of Greenfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Wilbur, Elmer, Louis, Ernest, Dwight and infant Quentin; and four sisters, May Kivett, Grace Kivett, Esther Schulz and infant Charlotte.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Collins Funeral home with Rev. Robert Wood officiating. Burial was at the Moon cemetery.
