Services Held For Ethel Givan

Mrs. Carl (Ethel) Givan of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away at the Des Moines General Hospital on July 13, 1978. Funeral services were held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines on July 15th at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jim Robertson officiating.

Ethel, daughter of Bertha Jessup and John Evans was born in Madison County on August 12, 1910. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Carl of Macksburg, a daughter, Mrs. Orbin (Mary Lou) Gaskin of Des Moines, four grandchildren, Linda, Steven, Mary Jo and Joe, two sisters, Kathryn Palmer of Des Moines and Hazel Pinelaney of Macksburg, and a brother, Charles of Colorado; and several great grandchildren.
