Services For Leora DeVault
A seventy-six-year-old resident of the Pitzer neighborhood, Leora Olive DeVault, died Tuesday, June 22, 1976, at her home in Madison County. She has been a resident here since 1939.
Mrs. DeVault was born May 29, 1900, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Reinier and Maude J. Heller Reinier. She was married April 15, 1930, in Des Moines to Glenn DeVault.
A nurse before her marriage, Mrs. DeVault was later occupied as a housewife. Surviving her is a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Jo Ani) Keasling of Batavia, Iowa, and one grandchild.
Also surviving are two brothers, Dick and Lowe Reinier and three sisters, Jean Murphy, Bernice Cobb and Bessie Hall.
Mrs. DeVault was preceded in death by her husband (September 1, 1972), her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services for Leora Olive DeVault were conducted Thursday, June 24, at 1:30 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, Rev. Alan Parker presiding. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
