Mae Farlow Services Held

Funeral services were held last Thursday, November 14, at the Foursquare Church in Winterset for Mrs. Lottie Mae Farlow.

Mrs. Farlow died Sunday, November 10, at Presbyterian Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She had been living with a daughter at Pine, Colorado.

Lottie Mae Farlow, the daughter of George W. and Susan E. Bishop Barnett, was born December 23, 1892 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Her childhood was spent in Iowa and Ohio.

On May 14, 1912 she was united in marriage to Earl Albert Farlow. The couple was in business in Winterset for many years. When his health failed they made their home in several different states.

She is survived by her sister, Iva McAleese of Akron, Ohio, a son, Carl of Tacoma, Washington and four daughters, Ruth Condon of Westminister, California; Iva Gollan of Pine, Colorado; Pauline Brooks of Onekama, Michigan, and Mary Phillips of Truro, twenty-nine grandchildren and forty-five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, George and Myers, and two grandsons, Albert and Randal.

She was active in the Foursquare Church and the Royal Neighbor Lodge.

Officiating at the services last Thursday was the Rev. Charles Updike. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
