Hilda Thomas, 73 Died Wednesday

Mrs. Hilda Thomas of Winterset, a life-time resident of Madison County, died at Madison County Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 19. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Thomas was born on April 27, 1900, the daughter of Henry and Minnie Beeber Porter. She was married to Earl Thomas at Winterset on December 25, 1921.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, Earl; and by one sister, Bernice Porter of Winterset. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, at the Collins Funeral Home at Winterset, with the Rev. H. E. Borum presiding. Burial was in Moon Cemetery at Macksburg.
