Mrs. Henry Low Died Saturday
Mrs. Henry Low of Winterset died Saturday, April 15, at Memorial hospital here. She was 82 years of age.
Mrs. Low was a native of Watseka, in Irquois county, Illinois, where she was born Sept. 20, 1889. She was the former Hazel T. Pew, daughter of James and Laura Green Pew. She had lived in Madison county the last 59 years.
She was married at Harrisville, Mo., on Aug. 1, 1912, to Henry T. Low, who survives her.
Mrs. Low was a member of the First Christian church of Winterset.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Eileen Coe of Ft. Worth, Tex.; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Fred Pew of Salina, Kan.; and three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Base of Abilene, Kan., Mrs. Addie Temple of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Mrs. Ruth Wood of St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Collins Funeral home here, conducted by the Rev. Eldon E. Jandebeur, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset, and the Rev. Charles Updike, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
