Doris Taylor

Doris T. Taylor, 98, of Middletown, died at 10:16 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at her home.

Born June 21, 1911, in Winterset, she was the daughter of Burt and Grace L. Robbins Wight. On Nov. 4, 1931, she married Jack H. Taylor in Laurel, Mont. He died Dec. 25, 1971.

Mrs. Taylor ranched with her husband in the Livingston, Mont., area, moving to Middletown in September 2004. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Irene Croston of Middletown and Judy Taylor of Danville.

No visitation or services are planned. The body has been cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Livingston.

Hass-Thielen Funeral Home in Burlington is in charge of arrangements.

Transcriber's note: Doris 5th of 9 children born to Burt and Grace L. (Robbins) Wight. She was buried next to her husband, James Herbert Taylor, at the Mountain View Cemetery, Livingston, Park County, Montana.
