Ethel Robshaw Died at 82 Years

Mrs. Ethel M. Robshaw of Peru died Sunday, May 16 at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 82 years of age.

Mrs. Robshaw was a life-long resident of Madison county. She was the former Ethel M. Morgan, daughter of John and Mary Morgan and was born in this county July 1, 1888.

As a young woman she was married to Perry Armstrong, who preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Henry Robshaw. His death occurred in 1965.

She was a member of the Methodist church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary.

Surviving are three sons, Marvin Armstrong of Truro, Merrill Robshaw of Kansas City, Mo., and Johnny Robshaw of Valley Springs, S. Dak.; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Matthews of Marysville, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Rhone of Peru; 15 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Two daughters and two sons preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at the Kale Funeral home in Truro, conducted by the Rev. Richard Hempenius. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
