Child Killed on Highway

Michelle Rudolf, 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rudolf of Winterset, was killed last Thursday, Dec. 31, in a highway accident near Tipton. The tragedy occurred at the junction of Highways 30 and 38, near Tipton.

The child’s mother, Mrs. Jill Rudolf of Winterset, is hospitalized in critical condition.

The child was riding in a car with her mother and her father’s sister, when the crash occurred. Her father and her brother were in another car near the scene of the crash.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Fisher Funeral home in Van Meter. Burial was made in Jefferson township cemetery.
