Clarence E. Lienemann of Adel died Wednesday, May 31, enroute to a Des Moines hospital. He was 69 years of age.
Mr. Lienemann was born in DeSoto Aug. 18, 1897, a son of Brack B. and Emma Kading Lienemann. He was married to Renetta Ham at Geneseo, Ill., on Jan. 26, 1922. Most of his life was spent farming south of DeSoto.
He was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran church at Van Meter, in which he was active in the Lutheran Men’s club and the Lutheran Fellowship club.
He leaves four children, Donald of Adel, LaVerne of Durand, Mich., Mrs. Berneal Huffman of DeSoto, and Lloyd of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Koch of near DeSoto and Mrs. Fernanda Martens of DeSoto; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 3 from Trinity Lutheran church.
