TOM KIERNAN, Auburn

Tom Kiernan fell asleep Saturday, November 10, 2012, in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 72. Tom was born and raised in Booneville, IA, but would adventure to many places throughout the country. He was a retired salesman, selling many different products throughout his life. He always had an appreciation for motorcycles and classic cars. But Tom's pride and joy was spending time with family, especially his precious granddaughter, Ava. His heart was bigger than life, and he loved talking to everyone, especially about the Word of God. His heart, his generosity, and his love will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Tom is survived by his wife, Sherry of Auburn, son, John (Tiffany) Kiernan, granddaughter, Ava Kiernan all of Des Moines; sister Mary Beth Craven of Windsor Heights; brothers, Rev. Jim Kiernan of Des Moines and Gary Kiernan of Winterset. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alice Kiernan and brother, Jack Kiernan. Graveside Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012 at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Cumming, Iowa. A Memorial Reception will follow at Felix and Oscars Restaurant in 4801 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines.
