Mrs. Jennie May Carter, of St. Charles died Sunday, September 25, at a nursing home in that community. She was 76 years of age.
Mrs. Carter was a life-time resident of Madison county. She was born in this county June 19, 1890, a daughter of Allen H. and Harriet J. Lull McDaniel. She was married May 8, 1907 to Oscar Carter.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Florence Skellenger of Stuart; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held September 28, at Blair Chapel, conducted by the Rev. James Louk. Burial was made in Blair chapel cemetery.
