Charles Preston Died This Wednesday

Charles Preston died Wednesday morning at the home of his mother, Mrs. Ernest Preston, 109 West Hutchings St., in Winterset.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Collins Funeral home here.

Charles L. Preston Died Last Wednesday

Charles L. Preston of Winterset, a life-time resident of Madison county, died at his home here last Wednesday, April 18. He was 47 years of age and had been an invalid most of his life.

Mr. Preston was born in Jefferson township, July 29, 1918, a son of Ernest and Kathryn Davis Preston. His father died in 1951.

He was a member of the United Brethren church.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Kathryn Preston of Winterset; and a brother, Levi Preston of Hampton.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Donald Jones of Van Meter. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
