Nora Mae Page, 91, of Santee, Calif., died July 7, 2012, at her home of 15 years.

Nora Mae Ann Bruns was born on Sept. 23, 1920, in Winterset, Iowa. She graduated from AIB Business College in Des Moines. Nora moved to San Diego and worked for Solar Aircraft during the War in the early 40s as the Superintendent's Secretary. She worked later as a Chiropractic Assistant and Office Manager in Chula Vista, Calif., for 15 years. Nora was widowed from husbands, Dale Melroy, Frank M. English and John Hilton Page. Nora left a large legacy as she raised a family of 11 children. She is survived by over 100 immediate family members. Nora was a graduate of Winterset High School and a proud alumni. Nora was lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary Williams of California City, Calif., and Dorothy Kennedy of Lake City, Minn.; children, Joe Melroy of Ridgefield, Wash.; Frank English of Estelline, Texas; Lawna Snook of Vidor, Texas; Lorenda (Lorrie) Corrie of Bullhead City, Ariz.; Eleonora (Elly) Curtis of San Diego, Calif.; Patrick English of San Diego; Donna English of Temecula, Calif.; Mark English of Santee, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
