Glen Stout, 93, of Menlo died of a heart ailment Monday at Community Care Center there. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Stuart-Mount Vernon United Methodist Church in Stuart, with burial at Winterset Cemetery in Winterset.

Mr. Stout was born in Patterson and had lived in Carson, Iowa City, Nevada, Collins and Stuart before moving to Menlo. He was a retired quarry superintendent and a member of Jefferson Center United Methodist Church and Congregate Meals. He enjoyed attending congregate meals and visiting with people.

He is survived by two daughters, Wanda Phillips of Round, Texas, and Sheilah McQuire of Philadelphia, Pa.; a son, Glen Raymond Stout of Maybank, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
