Services for Erwin E. Bond, 84, of Ankeny, who died of arteriosclerosis Wednesday at the Garden Court Nursing Care Center, 2501 Twenty-fourth St., will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church in Des Moines. He will be buried in the Winterset Cemetery.

Mr. Bond was born in Abingdon, Ill. He lived in Ankeny for six years and in Polk County 46 years. He had previously lived in Madison County and was a retired farmer.

Mr. Bond is survived by his wife, Ethyl; four daughters, Enolia and Ruth, at home, Mrs. Paul Myers of Lemon Grove, Calif. and Mrs. Robert Fausch of Ankeny; a brother, Dale of Ames; a sister, Mrs. Vera Nelson of Des Moines; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body is at Ankeny Funeral Home.
