Mark Bird, age 51, died at his home in Winterset, IA of a presumed heart attack. He was born in Des Moines to Margery (Simmons) and William R. Bird. He worked in the saw mills of Earlham.

Survivors include sisters, Linda (Lyle) Short, Cindy (Jerry) Dyerm and Loree Chase; nieces and nephews, Bo and Billy Dyer, Hannah and Nikki Short, JD, Margie, and Johnathan Chase; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and nephew, Jimmy Dyer.
Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be made later.

MARK BIRD, Winterset, formerly Earlham

On June 26, our brother Mark W. Bird passed away from a heart attack. He's been reunited with our parents, William R. Bird and Margery S. Bird, grandparents, nephew, Jimmy Dyer, and his beloved dog, Georgie.

Mark was born August 7, 1960 in Des Moines. He lived in Des Moines until moving to Earlham. Per Mark's wishes, he has been cremated and a private burial will be at a later date.

He's survived by his three sisters, Linda (Lyle) Short, Cindy (Jerry) Dyer and Loree Chase; nieces and nephews, Bo and Billy Dyer, Hannah and Nikki Short, JD, Margie and Johnathan Chase, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
