Death of OTHO S. RUTHERFORD

Otho S. Rutherford, who lived for many years in Scott township, died Saturday, March 20, 1926, at his home in Des Moines. He had been ill for about a week with a bad case of the flu, but his relatives and friends did not realize that his condition was so serious.

The Rutherfords left Madison county about two years ago and moved to a farm in Dallas county. They lived there until about six months ago, when they moved to 1225 West 7th Street in Des Moines.

Mr. Rutherford was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rutherford, and was born on the farm in Scott township. He is survived by his wife and step-daughter. Funeral services were held at Hamilton's funeral home, at Des Moines and burial was made in that city.
