Rose C. Hanrahan, 91, of Bishop Drumm Care Center, 5837 Winwood Drive, Johnston, died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Cumming, of which she was a member. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Mrs. Hanrahan was born in Churchville and lived in the Cumming area most of her life, moving to the care center four years ago. She was a homemaker and member of her church’s Rosary Society.

Surviving are three brothers, Henry Davitt of Des Moines, Lester Davitt of Omaha and Walter Davitt of Audubon; and two sisters, Florence Gregory of Des Moines and Philomena King of Adel.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the church, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Caldwell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
