Section A, Page 11Carrie Mae Muselman, 97, of Knoxville died of a heart ailment Saturday at Knoxville Area Community Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville, with burial at Hartman Cemetery in Truro.
Mrs. Muselman was born in Clarke County and had lived in Clarke and Madison counties most of her life, moving to Knoxville in 1974. She was a homemaker and a member of Knoxville Assembly of God Church.
Among survivors are two daughters, Darlene Mooberry of Knoxville and Phyllis Mooberry of Des Moines; a brother, Myron Sinn of Sedalia, Mo.; two sisters, Audrey May of Indianola and Bernice Spellman of Des Moines; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

One of eight children, Carrie Mae Muselman, the daughter of Ida Belle Monical and Edward J. Sinn, was born on Jan. 18, 1896, in Clarke County and died April 24, 1993, at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital in Knoxville. She was 97.
Mrs. Muselman spent her entire life in Madison and Clarke Counties before moving to Knoxville in 1974. She was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Knoxville until her health failed. She always liked to garden and raise vegetables and flowers. Mrs. Muselman’s other hobbies included crocheting and quilting. She made innumerable quilts through the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, three sisters and a brother.
Family members surviving Mrs. Muselman are two daughters, Darlene Mooberry and her husband, Merryll, of Knoxville and Phyllis Mooberry and her husband James, of Des Moines, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Audrey May of Indianola and Burnice Sullivan of Des Moines and a brother, Myron Sinn of Sedalia, Mo.; also many other relatives and her many friends.
Services for Mrs. Muselman were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville, the Rev. L. H. Swartzendruber officiating. Music provided by Mary Ely, organist and Rachelle Mooberry, vocalist were the songs, Amazing Grace, These Hands of Mine and My Home Sweet Home.
Casket bearers were Rick Fry, Ron Fry, David Mooberry, Duane Mooberry, James Lynn Mooberry and Jerry Mooberry. Interment was in Hartman Cemetery at Truro.
Memorials may be made to the Assembly of God Church at Harvey.
